Terry joins EMA with close to 20 years experience in Information Technology, with a background that spans the design, management, and optimization of IT infrastructures, organizations and operating environments. Additionally, Terry has experience helping IT executives and organizations implement IT governance, compliance and operational frameworks, as well as enterprise level technical solutions. With ISACA’s CISA (Certified IS Auditor) and CobiT certifications, as well as the ITIL Foundation certification from the IT Service Management Forum, Terry has the in-depth knowledge essential to enabling organizations to achieve their key business and IT initiatives.
Prior to joining EMA, Terry served as a Senior Manager in Protiviti’s Technology Risk Management Practice, a global risk management consultancy with legacy roots in Arthur Anderson’s Global Risk Management Practice. While there he delivered IT governance, compliance, security, and operational improvement engagements for world-class clients such as RE/MAX International, Echostar Communications (Dish TV Network) and TDK International. Earlier in his career, Terry held senior and executive management positions at various boutique IT consulting firms that served clients in the franchised retail, government, financial services, and high-tech industries, including Motorola, Pizza Hut International, Cessna Aircraft, Intuit Software, and Cisco Systems.
Most recently, Terry’s professional passion has evolved from delivering enterprise-level technical solutions to a focus on IT governance and strategy. Today he focuses on helping IT executives make sense of, prioritize, target and realize value from the many competing interests that clamor for their attention.
